In dollars. On a $115 ticket, WinIt's fee is $57.50 only if the ticket is dismissed, and $0 if it is not. Our hearing statement is $12.99 flat, whatever the outcome. Asking the city for a hearing yourself costs nothing.
Our number. 26.2% of contested tickets are dismissed outright at a hearing and 58.5% end dismissed or reduced, computed from NYC Open Data, Open Parking and Camera Violations; the rate for each violation type is on the violations page.
Where they beat us: WinIt, FineHero and Clear Plates file the dispute for you, and we never file; ParkEagles charges less for a written statement. The city lets you dispute for free at nyc.gov, and you never need anyone to do it for you.
